I cannot receive channel five on my analogue television why?
The answer to this could be many fold; it could be as simple as your transmitter may not be transmitting channel five. Such as Felling Transmitter, which only transmits, four analogues channels and has no digital transmissions.
Pontop Pike transmitter only has four analogue transmissions as channel five comes via Burnhope radio transmitter. In some instances due to your angle to the transmitters you may receive one to four but be unable to pick up the channel five signals.
In the case of Bilsdale or Fenham transmitter your aerial may be a channelised type which may allow you to receive channels one to four but is unable to pick up channel five. The aerial will have to be changed to a wide band type.
